- in 1797, there was auction in bengal's burdwan. it was a public event and a number of mahals of burdwan's raja were being sold .
- do you know , who were the purchasers, Servants and agents , they have purchased it on the behalf of their master.


- The palaces  were being sold only because, Raja had not paid the Zamindari tax of EIC,
